With 1 out of every 3 Senior Citizens diagnosed with Alzheimer's or a related disease, Brian Thomas May is returning as Captain of Team Boutang for the Twin Cities Walk to End Alzheimers.
After losing his mother, Mary (Boutang) May, in January of 2015 and his grandfather, Ken Boutang, in September of 2006 to Alzheimer's, Brian sought to do something positive to honor their memory. Both Mary and Ken were Minnesota Twins fans and were involved in their community. A walk held at Target Field, the home of the Twins, was a perfect way to fight the disease.
In 2015, Brian Thomas and five other participants of Team Boutang sought to raise money to end Alzheimer’s Disease and support and treat those living with the disease. Using only Social Media platforms, Team Boutang raised over $1,500 in just three months. This year Team Boutang aims to raise another $1,500.
